Calling Organic Growers: Farm Bill Summit
in Washington, DC, March 6-8, 2007
The Organic Farming Research Foundation
(OFRF) and the Sustainable Agriculture Coalition (SAC)
are recruiting farmers and ranchers to attend a special
meeting in Washington next month focused on the Farm
Bill. Limited funds are available to support growers’
travel and lodging, but hotel reservations need to be
made this week.
“Roots to Reform: A Summit
for a Sustainable 2007 Farm Bill” will
include:
- Workshops for grassroots advocacy on the 2007 Farm
Bill
- Presentations from Congressional leaders
- Expert analysis on the 2007 Farm Bill
- Visits with you Senators and Representative in the
Capitol
