OFRF's 16th Annual
Fall Organic Harvest Benefit Reception and Dinner

Tuesday, October 7th, 2008
One Market Restaurant, San Francisco

OFRF’s 16th Annual Fall Organic Harvest Benefit gathered leaders of the Northern California organic food and farming community to celebrate the season and support the work of OFRF. This year, we raised over $85,000 to support OFRF's ongoing grantmaking policy and public information programs! We continued our tradition of honoring regional organic pioneers, and this year's honorees were Jeff and Annie Main from Good Humus Produce in the Capay Valley. Jeff and Annie have been farming organically since 1976 and are now working to establish an agricultural easement to ensure that the farm will be preserved for food production for the community for generations to come.

Coordinating chef John Mitchell was joined by Charles Phan of the Slanted Door, Charlie Ayers, formerly from Google and now opening Calafia Market a Go Go, Christine Lee of Charlie Trotter's Foods, Michael Orlandi from Gelateria Cici and One Market chefs Mark Dommen and Patty Dellamonica-Bauler to create a delicious five course meal. See the 2008 Menu here.
