6th Annual Midsummer's Eve Organic Benefit Reception

Thursday, July 9th, 2009
Pastures of Plenty Farm
Longmont, Colorado

Listen to Bob Scowcroft's KGNU radio interview about the Midsummer's Eve
reception and organic agriculture.

The 6th Annual Midsummer's Eve Organic Benefit Reception brought together 100 of our friends from the Colorado organic community and raised nearly $30,000 to sustain OFRF’s year-round programs.

We thank Whole Foods Market’s Rocky Mountain Region and Horizon Organic Dairy for making this gathering possible and we also greatly appreciate the donations of excellent organic food and drink by the in-kind donors listed below.

We are very grateful to Sylvia Tawse and Lyle Davis for opening their home to us once again, and for the great support of the Fresh Ideas Group, the Pastures of Plenty crew and John Howlett and the staff of Big Bang Catering. A special thanks also goes to Adriane "Addie" Elliot, of the Colorado Organic Producers Association for helping us turn out more farmers than ever for this event.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Special events are an important source of support for OFRF's research and education programs, as well as a unique opportunity for our supporters to enjoy great organic food, fantastic music and/or inspiring educational programs with other members of the organic community. We hope you will join us at one of our upcoming events.
