Think Spring! Luncheon Social!

National Organic Leaders Welcome Our New ED
Our new Executive Director, Maureen Wilmot, was warmly received by more than 320 leaders in the organic industry at our annual Think Spring! Luncheon Social in Anaheim, California.

During the Natural Products Expo event, Wilmot shared OFRF’s view that organic can become the leading form of agriculture. She told the group that continued growth in organic depends heavily on our ability to work together to build a positive future.

Keynote speaker Philippe Cousteau also sounded a positive note during the luncheon, as he talked about the contributions organic agriculture can make to a cleaner environment and more healthy people. Cousteau was interviewed after his speech by the website New Hope 360. Click here to view his taped comments.

Italian fare with a definite Mediterranean flair graced the tables at our Think Spring! Luncheon and Social this year. Chef Donna Prizgintas says fittingly, the menu for this year’s event aimed at helping guests warm up to spring.
