EVENT RECAP: March 9, 2017: 20th Annual OFRF Natural Products Expo West Luncheon

OFRF’s 20th Annual Luncheon fundraiser drew a crowd of nearly 300 industry leaders in the organic sector. The event kicked-off the Natural Products Expo West tradeshow with an all-organic feast, music, and heartland fare—with a California twist, of course. We are truly grateful to our sponsors and esteemed guests for helping us reach our fundraising goal! Thank you for your support of our work.


Over 150 items were donated from organic companies such as Belcampo Meat Co., Organic Valley, Frontier Co-Op, Santa Cruz Mountain Brewery, JSM Organics, and more. Once again, our celebrity Chefs Donna Prizgintas, Chris Blobaum, and Beth Miller were at the helm, crafting a delicious feast for all to enjoy!


As they entered the City National Grove of Anaheim, guests buzzed with the energy of so many networking opportunities. They were also there to enjoy, as one guest remarked “the best meal during the trade show.” Even keynote speaker Dr. Kathleen Merrigan quipped from the stage, “Now I know why you all are here. It is the food!” The chefs were given a standing ovation for their tremendous contributions and the longevity of their work.


The luncheon raised over $100,000 for OFRF’s year-round programmatic work in research, education, and advocacy.
