Katrina is an organic industry expert with cross-functional experience in sustainability, marketing, food safety, and regulatory compliance.  She serves on the Board of Lundberg Family Farms and is an advisory board member of Bee Better Certified by Xerces Society for the Preservation of Invertebrates. Katrina served as the scientist appointee on the National Organic Standards Board from 2007-2012.

Katrina spent 22 years at General Mills ending with a ten-year role as Organic Ambassador. In this role, she was responsible for representing the organic movement, consumers, and farmers within the organization, consulted with brands on their mission work, supported the sustainable agriculture programs for both Muir Glen and Cascadian Farm, and provided stewardship for the original Cascadian Farm in Skagit, WA.

Katrina has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne.
