Farmer-Led Trials: How to Plan, Conduct and Interpret Your Own on Farm Research at the Tilth Conference
November 17 @ 1:30 pm - 2:45 pm UTC-6
Join us at the Tilth Conference to learn about the process of designing and conducting on-farm trials. We will share practical tips and resources to help you build trials that directly inform your production decisions. We will be joined by Anthony Reyes, Agricultural Program Manager at Oxbow Farm & Conservation Center in Snoqualmie Valley, WA, who has completed two years of Farmer-Led Trials with OFRF. Anthony will share what he’s learned from investigating cover crop seeding rates and planting dates for drought-resilient varieties–and what it’s really like to conduct structured research on a working farm.
The session will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 10:30-11:45 a.m. PT.
